History Noviomagum Certificate

At the end of 1977 the idea came up for a special “Certificate” for the Nijmegen department of the VERON.
PA0LSK (SK) made a proposal for the design based on the idea of a QSL card from PA0JWR (Jan v.d. Water)
This proposal and the design have been in use ever since with approval.
154 awards have now been issued under various Award Managers.
This shows that the award is a unique possession for the recipients.

Together with the QSL manager, the call sign list of the amateurs that are valid for applying for the AWARD is compiled annually.

Have been the AWARD manager:
1977 – 1983 PA0LSK Leo Leisink.
1983 – 1985 NL 7797 Jo Maters.
1985 – 1998 PA3FNE Peter Merx.
1998 – 2019 PB0AEZ Jan van Beuningen.
2019 – 2021 PA2D Ger Bloemberg

As your Award Manager, I hope to be able to hand out many Awards.
